Game Abstract
In their first game on Japanese soil, the Major
League All-Stars routed a team of former Tokyo Big Six College
players by a 17 to 1 score. Starting pitcher Earl Whitehill
held the Tokyo Club to one run and six hits in nine innings while
collecting three hits at the plate. Much to the disappointment
of the large crowd, the Major Leaguers hit no home runs.
